During the first year of my teacher's journey, I built two web-based tools for potential lessons/projects. I hope to add more in the near future. Here's what I have thus far.

Japanese Flashcards

I got to lead an intersession class this past schoolyear, and I chose "Japanese Language and Culture". It was a blast, and we all learned so much! In order to help with the students' vocabulary acquisition, I created a flashcard page. This is the live one, but a customizable version is in a repo in my github.)

Word Root "Life List"

I got the idea for this tool while in an HTH GSE class: what if students had a list like the life lists that birders used to track all the birds they'd seen, but instead the list was for all the foreign word roots and imported terms that English is full of?
